I've been a poll worker for a long time (this is my fourth Presidential election) and what I'm seeing on the ground is a real split between homeowners and renters and those who are drawn to tough on crime policies and politicians. I think combatting misinformation, especially among non-English/limited English speaking groups (Latines and Asian Americans, especially, but also Europeans) has to be a priority. I do wonder if the effects of a second Trump administration will sway people, but I just don't know.
